Establishing a digital presence for your research

The first Design and Digital World workshop outlined what having a ‘digital presence’ means and considered how you might go about building one.

The workshop aimed to improve knowledge of the benefits of establishing a digital presence, both for the researcher and the research project, allowing attendees to think about their own branding needs, develop a strategy to implement and have the opportunity to practice some digital skill techniques in relation to social media.

Specific platforms covered in the session are: Blogs, Podcasts, Linkedin, Slideshare, Research Gate, Websites and Twitter.
